How much is tuition and what does it include?

Tuition details are shared privately during your in-person tour, as rates are Ministry-controlled. Families can expect all-inclusive programming, with meals, supplies, and classroom materials provided.

Is there a waitlist and how do I secure a spot?

Yes, Peregrine House School often has a waitlist due to high demand. The best way to secure a place is by booking a private tour and completing your application package promptly afterward.

Does my infant automatically have a spot in the primary  program later?

Yes. Families enrolled in the Infant & Toddler program receive priority placement in the Primary program before those spots are offered to the public.

Can I enroll my child part-time or drop-in?

No. Peregrine is a full-time day school and does not offer part-time or drop-in care. Our all year round Montessori programs are designed for consistency and continuity.

What ages do you serve?

We welcome children from 12 months through 12 years, with programs tailored for Infants, Toddlers, Pre-K, and Upper Elementary.

How many students and staff are in each class?

Infant/Toddler classrooms have 12 students with 3 staff members (1:4 ratio). Primary classrooms have 20 students with 3 staff members (1:8 ratio).

What does a typical day look like?

Children enjoy uninterrupted work cycles in Montessori classrooms, balanced with outdoor play, specialty classes, nutritious meals, and community time. Each day is structured to support independence and focus.

Are meals really included?

Yes. Every child receives chef-prepared, fresh meals daily. Parents don’t need to pack lunches, and menus are designed for nutrition and variety.

Do children wear uniforms every day?

Yes. Monday through Thursday, children wear the formal dress uniform; Fridays are casual uniform days.

Can parents visit during the day?

Yes. We have an observatory room where parents can watch their child through a one-way glass window without disrupting the classroom. We also have an open-door policy for scheduled visits.

When is the school closed during the year?

Peregrine is a 12-month, year-round school. We close for one week in July, one week in August, and one week in December. Families receive a full annual calendar at registration so they can plan confidently for the year ahead.

How do you communicate with parents?

We offer three parent conferences each year, along with Montessori Parent Community Workshops designed to help families better understand Montessori principles and apply them confidently at home.

Is before- and after-school care available?

Yes. Families can enroll for the entire year or by the month, depending on their needs.
